Catholics in the Public Square

As you might be aware, back in April 2004 I invited my co-editors Oswald Sobrino, Earl E. Appleby and Jeff Miller to join me in a blog called CatholicKerryWatch, covering the scandal created by Senator Kerry and other "pro-choice Catholics" who defiantly and disobediently maintained their pro-choice stance and insisted on receiving the Eucharist.

Now that the election is over, Catholics in the Public Square will pick up where CKW left off, taking a look at prominent Catholics in public service from both sides of the political spectrum.

Here's our introductory post, summarizing the intent and goals of our "new" blog. For those who appreciated my occasional forays into political discussion, you'll find more of the same over there.
